Jamshedpur: Grade IV cleaning staff of MGMCH today took out a march on foot from the government hospital premises to the office of the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal to demand regularization.
They said the state health department should regularize them as soon as possible since they had long been working as temporary staff without getting the benefits of their loyalty.
The agitators were led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Shyamal Sarkar who alleged that the cleaning staff had long been neglected by the health department despite their considerable contribution to the department.
