Tamolia: Govind Vidyalaya, Tamolia, observed Saraswati Puja with traditional rituals and great enthusiasm on Friday, January 23, 2026. The event, dedicated to the Goddess of Knowledge, saw active participation from students, teachers, and staff members.
Ceremony and Rituals
The religious proceedings were conducted under the guidance of priests Pandit Manish Sharma and Neeraj Pandey. Dignitaries in attendance included Rukmini Sharma (wife of Director Dr. B.D. Sharma), Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Ms. Krishna Modak, and Head of H.O.D. Naushad Razia.
Other senior officials, including Senior Coordinator Harvinder Kaur, Junior Coordinator Shabana Parveen, P.R.O. Rajesh Sharma, along with his wife Sangeeta Sharma, and Hindi Medium Principal Mrs. Sunita Tripathi, also participated in the ceremony alongside the teaching staff.
Prayer for Wisdom
During the prayers, the school community sought blessings for wisdom, knowledge, and good health from Goddess Saraswati. Following the completion of the rituals, bhog was distributed among all those present, marking a successful and harmonious celebration of the festival.
