Jamshedpur, Sept 9: Govind Vidyalay students of Classes VI and VII organized a rally as a part of the Cleanliness Fortnight Campaign that commenced from September 1. District Education and Programme Officer of Jharkhand Education Project has organized this programme for private and government school students.
The students of Govind Vidyalay in Tamulia raised slogans advocating the benefits of cleanliness. They were accompanied by their class teachers.
Earlier, Govind Vidyalay Principal Jyoti Prakash Hota and Administrator Krishna Modak jointly flagged off the cleanliness rally. The students held placards urging people to ensure cleanliness in and around their houses.
Govind Vidyalay Students’ Council In-charge Naushad Razia, Sports In-charge Gokulanand Mishra and Mahendra Rautia and Md Arsalan organized the rally.
