Govind Vidyalaya Tamolia bid an emotional farewell to the outgoing Class XII batch of 2024-25 in a heartfelt ceremony filled with nostalgia and gratitude. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest, Dr. Brahmadatt Sharma, Director of the school, in the presence of special guest and social worker Mamachand Agarwal, Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, Head of HOD Naushad Razia, Senior Coordinator Harvinder Kaur, Junior Coordinator Shabana Parveen and PRO Rajesh Sharma.
The farewell was a lively affair, with Class XI students organizing cultural performances and engaging competitions to bid adieu to their seniors. The audience was enthralled by mesmerizing dance and music performances by the girls, setting a joyous yet emotional tone for the event. As part of the celebrations, Aman Akhtar and Anjali Pandey were crowned Mr. and Miss Govind Vidyalaya, respectively, after a rigorous selection process by the jury. While presenting them with the honor, Dr. Brahmadatt Sharma encouraged the students, saying, “The dedication you have shown in your student life is remarkable and there is no doubt that this commitment will take you to great heights in the future.”
The event became deeply sentimental when Class XII students shared their experiences, expressing gratitude for the love, guidance and support they received from the school. Winners of various competitions were also felicitated. The program was meticulously conducted by Alia and Rakia, with a welcome speech by Jyoti Gorai and a vote of thanks by Saina Durrani. Under the able guidance of program in-charge Naushad Razia and Harvinder Kaur, the Class XI students ensured the smooth execution of the farewell ceremony.
