Jamshedpur: DBMS Kadma High School bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Class XII batch of 2024-25 in a grand ceremony filled with nostalgia, joy and bittersweet goodbyes. The event, held in the school auditorium, was a celebration of cherished memories and the strong bonds formed over the years.

The evening featured a vibrant mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs and pulsating music that enthralled the audience. A documentary capturing the students’ journey through their school years brought out emotions, leaving many teary-eyed as they reflected on their time at the institution. The air was filled with gratitude and best wishes as students, teachers and school authorities came together to celebrate the occasion.

Speaking on the momentous day, Principal Gurpreet Bhambra expressed her heartfelt emotions, stating, “This farewell is not an end but a new beginning. We are immensely proud of our students and wish them success in their future endeavors.” The event also saw the presentation of prestigious titles, with Aqsa Murtaza crowned as Miss D.B.M.S. K.H.S. and Sreyas Satyadeep Nahar as Mr. D.B.M.S. K.H.S. Other notable winners included Mahi Agarwal (Miss Personality), Gurveer (Mr. Personality), Sumedha Patinay (Miss Popular) and Prabjot Singh (Mr. Popular). Ridhima Singh and Sonu Kumar were recognized for their outstanding attire, while Juhi Mahato and Abhinav were awarded for their remarkable stage presence and walk.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed members of the school management, including B. Chandrashekhar (Chairperson – Finance), Anita Ramkrishna (Hony. Secretary), Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Usha Malini (Jt. Secretary), P.S. Aruna (Jt. Treasurer), Vice Principals Suparna Roy and S. Shireen, along with teachers and office staff. Their presence added to the warmth and significance of the occasion.

The farewell concluded with a delightful lunch, where students and faculty shared laughter and memories one last time before parting ways.
