Govind Vidyalay celebrates International Mother Language Day

Jamshedpur: A special prayer session in different Mother languages by students was held at Govind Vidyalay in celebration of International Mother Language Day. Principal Sanjay Kumar Singh, administrator Krishna Modak, senior coordinator PB Sahay and teachers were present on the occasion.

Other events included among Club Activities were debates, songs, painting, theatre, essay writing and impromptu speech contests.

The Hindi Club observed a two minute silence in memory of progressive writer and authority of the language Namvar Singh who passed away on February 20.
