Ranchi: Governor CP Radhakrishnan has given his approval to the revised rules for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination (Second). The Personnel and Administrative Department has issued a gazette notification regarding these approved rules, now titled “The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination (2nd Amendment) Rules 2023.”
One significant amendment in the rules pertains to the main examination, where Paper One will focus on language proficiency (General Hindi and General English). Candidates are required to qualify in this paper, although the marks obtained will not be added to the overall merit list.
Key highlights of the revised rules include setting the minimum age limit at 21 years and the maximum age limit at 35 years as of August 1 of the advertisement year. Additionally, the qualifying marks for unreserved category candidates have been established at 40 percent.
