Jamshedpur : Most government schools in Jharkhand’s East Singhbhum district are running without the principal, teachers, and school teaching work is being disrupted, but the government is not concrete step in
this regard.
In East Singhbhum there are 58 Rajkiykrit high schools, 11 of which have been plus two. There left a total of 47 high schools in the district now.
These 47 high schools have just eight full-time principal, the rest of the work being carried out incharge.
The appointment of the principal has delayed over the years by the government and education department.
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee secretary and senior Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban informed that the state has norm for having 10 teachers and one principal in each plus two schools.
In 11 schools there are 56 teachers only. Out of 58 public schools there is only one girl school. Chabban urged the Chief Minister Raghuvar Das to soon overcome the shortage of teachers in government schools in East Singhbhum.
State of education should be improved and educational activities in the schools of the district should move smoothly so that students in the district student quality education can truly benefit.
Das has promised that within 6 months 34,000 teachers in the state will be appointed.
