Golpahari Railway Colony Puja Pandal celebrates 25 years with Kerala-themed décor

Jamshedpur, Sept 24: The Sarvjanik Durga Puja Committee of Golpahari Railway Colony is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year, marking 25 years of devotion, culture, and community unity. To commemorate the milestone, a grand puja pandal showcasing the vibrant culture of Kerala has been constructed, adorned with intricate decorations and striking lighting.

Special facilities have been arranged for women and elderly devotees to ensure easy darshan of Goddess Durga. The inauguration ceremony was held on September 22, where MLA Mangal Kalindi and District Council Vice President Pankaj Sinha jointly cut the ribbon.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Mangal Kalindi extended Navratri greetings and prayed for peace, happiness, and prosperity in the region. Pankaj Sinha also lauded the committee’s dedication in organizing the puja for over two decades.

Committee President Swapan Kumar Singhdev, Secretary Narendra Singh, along with Arun Guha, Santosh Pandey, Sushant Singh, Ajay Yadav, Manoj Thakur and Maheshwar Singh were present during the celebration. The Kerala-inspired pandal had become a major attraction, drawing devotees and visitors alike.
