Jamshedpur, Oct 28: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha general secretary Abhay Singh said former Chief Minister and party supremo Babulal Marandi had never promised ownership right to the people of 86 slums of Jamshedpur. He said the issue was raised by Chief Minister Raghubar Das. He said Das should have quit the Babulal Marandi�s Cabinet in case he was dissatisfied with the government�s performance or attitude.
Addressing a gathering at Bagunhatu Football Ground, the JVM leader said the CM should give ownership right to the dwellers of 86 slums without delay. The CM is merely trying to save his chair by inaugurating development projects worth Rs 350 crore, he said.
Singh said the state government had failed to provide health facilities to poor people. He said the Ayushman scheme had badly flopped and that 1500 people had died in the last five years at MGM Hospital.
