Girl who attempted suicide succumbs to injuries

Noamundi, May 21: Bharati Keshari , the daughter of Jagnnathpur AJSU leader Kamal Kishore Keshri, who attempted suicide on Friday following a poor show in Matriculation exams, succumbed to her injuries on Saturday.
When she tried to commit suicide nobody was present at home.

She closed the door of her room and hung herself from the roof of the house. Her father had gone to Ranchi, while her mother was in Odisha.

When the victim�s sister opened the door, she found Bharati hanging from the roof with a rope around her neck. She immediately informed her neighbor. With the help of her neighbors, Bharati was admitted to sub-divisional health center at Jagnnathpur.

As her condition became serious, attending doctors referred her to Champua hospital Odisha, but she succumbed to her injuries on the way.

Police have recovered the dead body and sent it for postmortem at the Sadar hospital, Chaibasa. Bharati was a student of Gyanchand Commerce College, Chaibasa.
