Chaibasa, May 21: The overall percentage of marks obtained by the students of Surajmull Jain DAV Public School, Chaibasa, in the CBSE Class 12 was 70.68 in the science stream and 70.28 in the commerce stream.
Total 45 and 37 students appeared in science stream and commerce streams respectively. In the science stream, Vishal Kumar Gupta topped the school by securing 93.2 percent marks, while Kumar Bharat Bhusan 91.2 percent and Abhisek got 89 percent securing.
In the commerce stream, Sneha Khirwal topped the school by scoring 94.8 percent marks, whereas Ashish Kumar obtained 91 percent and Ashi Chhabra got 85 percent.
Subject-wise, the highest marks was secured by Sneha Khirwal (94 percent in English), Vishal Kumar Gupta (96 percent in mathematics), Seneha Khirwal, Ashish Kumar and Tisti Chirania (95 percent in economics), Vishal Kumar Gupta and Abhisek Vishawkarma (95 percent in physics), Vishal Kumar Gupta (95 percent in chemistry 95), Soumen Bose Biology (98 percent in chemistry), Kumar bharat Bhusan and Abhisek Vishwakarma (94 percent in computer science), Sneha Khirwal, Sweta gupta and Rahul Agrawal (95 percent in accountancy), Sneha Khirwal, Rahul Agarwal Sristi Sonu and Ashi (95 percent in business studies) and Ashish Kumar (87 percent in entrepreneurship).
Two students failed as one could not write the examination due to illness, while another could not pass. The school administration is happy with the remarkable performance of the students in AISSE.
