Jamshedpur, Jan 5: Max, a 35-year-old cyclist from Germany, reached Jamshedpur on Saturday as part of his extraordinary bicycle journey across the globe. Starting from Germany on April 20, 2023, Max has cycled through Austria, Italy, Croatia, and several other countries, crossing the Suez Canal to Iran before traveling through Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
Welcomed by members of the HRS Sports Club, Max shared his inspiring story of personal transformation through cycling. Interacting with students, he highlighted the importance of education and travel, motivating them to pursue their dreams.

Max described India as a warm and hospitable country where people embodied kindness and readiness to help despite language barriers. Speaking limited Hindi, he hailed Bhagat Singh as an inspirational figure and amused audiences with his efforts to communicate.
Traveling on a daily budget of ₹100, Max camps in safe locations at night and uses online payments for transactions. His journey, spanning 20 months, aimed to connect with diverse people and cultures. From Jamshedpur, he plans to visit Jagannath Puri in Odisha to meet Saint Pragyanand Ji before returning to Germany.
Max also expressed his intention to translate a book on his journey into German and share his experiences with a wider audience.
