Jamshedpur, Jan 5: Kanhaiya Singh of the Kshatriya community expressed strong resentment on the appointment of MLA Mangal Kalindi as the chief guest at the Kshatriya Samman ceremony held in Govindpur. Singh stated that it was unfortunate that the Kshatriya community did not choose a chief guest from its own ranks, despite having several respected leaders like Saryu Roy, CP Singh, and Jai Mangal Singh, who were prominent figures in society.

He questioned the rationale behind selecting Mangal Kalindi, suggesting that if such decisions were made, either the event should be declared a general social program or Kalindi should be inducted into the Kshatriya community and recognized as a member of their lineage.

Singh further criticized the act as disgraceful, claiming that it tarnished the reputation of the Kshatriya dignitaries present on stage and predicted that the community would face consequences for this decision in the near future.
