Fun World Disneyland fair in Jamshedpur from April 24

Jamshedpur, April 1: The much-awaited Fun World “Disneyland” fair will commence at Ambagan Maidan in Sakchi on April 24, continuing its annual tradition of bringing entertainment and shopping under one roof.
The event was formally inaugurated with a bhoomi pujan ceremony held earlier today.
The ceremony was attended by the organiser, Chandrashekhar Parvat, along with prominent personalities including Shatrughan Giri, Advocate Samarendra Singh, Shekhar Paul, Pratap Singh, Rubai and several other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, organiser Chandrashekhar Parvat highlighted that this year’s fair will feature major attractions such as the Tsunami Swing, Revolving Chair ride, and a Singapore Airlines-themed aircraft installation, expected to be the centre of attraction.
Other crowd-pullers will include water boats, Tora Tora rides, and a wide range of amusement options for children.
Apart from rides, the fair will showcase a vibrant marketplace offering handicrafts, cotton garments, and apparel for men, women, and children, along with furniture and other lifestyle products.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of snacks and cuisines, making it a complete family outing during the summer holidays.
Parvat noted that the fair presents a “mini India,” with products and crafts representing diverse states of the country.
He also emphasized that the initiative provides a valuable platform for skilled and trained unemployed individuals to market their products, thereby contributing to livelihood generation.
The Fun World Disneyland fair continues to be a major attraction not only for residents of Jamshedpur but also for people from nearby regions, who eagerly await the event each year for its blend of entertainment, shopping, and cultural diversity.
