Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Freedom Motor Riders bike rally reached the city on Tuesday. The group of 75 riders was accorded a warm welcome on their arrival. The bikers were welcomed with tilak, flower petals and sweets. Members of Royal King Motorcycle Club were also present on this occasion.
The rally would continue for 75 days and would touch 75 cities to mark the 75 years of India’s Freedom. It was flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on 9th September last.
From here, it would leave for Kanya Kumari via Bhuvneshwar and from there would go to New Delhi via Goa and Gujarat, sources said.
The bikers were welcomed by Tata Steel officials at JRD Tata Sports Complex. They went to Centre For Excellence and spent the night at Ginger Hotel, Bistupur.
