Freedom a democratic right of human society: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran

Jamshedpur, March 9: Freedom is the first and most cherished democratic right of human society. A large number of men and women have sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle of our country. This was observed on Wednesday by the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato.

Mahato was invited to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and International Women’s Day celebrations at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Club, Haludbani, Parsudih, organized under the aegis of Dattopant Thengri National Board for Workers Education and Development (NBWED), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, Regional Directorate, Jamshedpur.

The MP said he was highly motivated by the programme. He said he would bring the activities of NBWED in the knowledge of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Labour Minister and would also invite them to Jamshedpur.

The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and singing of national song.

The programme was chaired by Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh and was conducted by education officer Pashupati Nath Sah. Regional Director of NBWED, Sanjay Kumar, welcomed all guests and spoke on the objectives of the event.

Rajkumar Singh too, praised the NBWED officials for running training programmes for workers. He said he was proud to be present during the programme.
