Free play school for under-privileged kids opens in Baliguma

Jamshedpur: A free English coaching centre cum play school for Adivasi and other backward caste children was opened at Vastu Vihar colony in Baliguma by Anima Das Memorial Charitable Trust, a unit of PN Das tent House. Om Narayan, retired Tata Steel officer inaugurated the play school.

Present on the occasion were Dr. Vijay Laxmi das, Anita Mohanty, PN Das and others.

According to PN Das, chairman of the Trust, the very purpose of opening the coaching institute is to provide quality education to the under-privileged rural youths who are often deprived of it.

In villages, children often lag behind in the knowledge of English, both verbal and written. This becomes a major drawback in the education given to them, he said. Das further said that free education will be provided to children and the expense of their uniform, shoes and tiffin will also be borne by the trust.

Das said the local villagers supported the outfit set up the coaching centre for a bright future of their children.
