Ranchi, Sept 3: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that poor students of std. X & XII will be given free coaching for the preparation of board examination from the session 2016-17.
Moreover the govt. is also endeavoring to impart education in the mother tongue of the students. He said that the govt. is committed to bring the marginalized & deprived people of the society in the mainstream by imparting training & skill program.
He said that the scarcity of teachers will be filled up by Nov. 2015 & Kasturba school girls will be given tablets free of cost. He said it while interacting with people in Jan Samvad Program in Lal Bahadur Shastri School ground in Bhandra, Loherdaga.
CM directed the DC to deal strictly with the officers not taking cognizance on complaints related with pension, drinking water supply & other rural amenities. He said that transformer capacity will be improved under Atal Gram Jyoti Yojana & the state will be self sufficient in electricity by 2019. Solar energy will be provided in far off regions.
Das ordered the Lohardaga DC to control the superstition practices of witchcraft & take strong action against people involved in such activities & exploitation of women in any way. He appealed to the women folk present in the Jan Samvad Program to come forward, avail the schemes run by the govt. & help themselves stand on their feet.
He also appealed to them to get connected with Samajik Suraksha Yojana & Bima Pension Yojana. Union State Minister Sudarshan Bhagat, Drinking Water & Sanitation Minister Chandra Prakash Choudhary, MLA Shivshankar Oraon, ex- MLA Kamal Kishor Bhagat , Secretary to CM Sunil Kumar Burnwal & other officers were present on this occasion.
