Fraudulent sale of shop in Jamshedpur: Case registered against couple

Jamshedpur, July 18: Bhavesh Ranpara, a resident of New Baradwari Prerna Sarla Apartment in Sakchi, has filed a case at Bistupur police station alleging fraud by Uma Vasani and her husband Rajendra Vasani. According to the complaint, the couple promised to sell two shops in Bistupur Gurudwara Basti, house number 32, to Bhavesh Ranpara and accepted Rs 70 lakh as payment for both shops.

However, after receiving the payment, they only transferred ownership of one shop and began delaying the return of money for the second shop. The total fraud amount is reported to be Rs 20 lakh. Bistupur police station in-charge Umesh Kumar Thakur confirmed the registration of the case and stated that investigations are underway into the matter.
