Jamshedpur, August 11: A tragic incident occurred in Dumkakocha village under Baghuria Panchayat in Ghatsila block on Sunday, where four-year-old Vasudev Singh drowned in a village drain. MLA Ramdas Soren promptly visited the village upon receiving news of the incident.
Vasudev Singh, the son of Ratan Singh, was playing with other children in a drain filled with mountain water while his parents were engaged in plantation work in the field. During play, he suddenly drowned. Despite being rushed to the subdivision hospital, he was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.
MLA Ramdas Soren expressed his condolences to the grieving family and assured them of all possible support. The visit was also attended by MLA representative Jagdish Bhakat, Kali Pad Gorai, Kajal Dan, Sukhlal Hansda, Ampa Hembram, Karunakar Mahato, and Vimal Mardi.
