Jamshedpur, Nov 29: The foundation stone of a banquet hall christened ‘Night Out’ and a food zone was laid at Tatanagar railway station by the station director Raghuvansh Pratap Singh on Tuesday.
Officials said the proposed banquet hall will be built over a 5000 square feet space beside the exit gate of the railway station and when completed, can be used for weddings, birthday parties and various other events. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 20 lakh. The entrance of the hall would be beside the exit gate of the station. Citizens would get best available facilities at reasonable rate, said the officials.
The proposed banquet hall will also have parking facility for around 25 vehicles. At present, booking the hall would cost Rs 28,500 which includes Rs 27,000 as hall charge and Rs 1500 as maintenance fee. The hall has a capacity of 500 people.
Many dignitaries were present during today’s foundation laying ceremony. They included Anjani Kumar Rai, Chief Commercial Inspector.
