Jamshedpur, June 25: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren is recovering well after being admitted to Tata Main Hospital (TMH) following a sudden health complication late on Wednesday night.
According to doctors, Soren’s blood pressure dropped significantly, prompting his family members to rush him to the hospital for immediate medical attention. He was placed under close observation and provided necessary treatment by a team of specialists.
Hospital authorities reported a marked improvement in his condition on Thursday.
At around 3 pm, Soren himself reassured supporters through a post on social media platform X, stating that he had been admitted due to certain health-related complications but that doctors had brought the situation under control.
In his message, the veteran leader said there was no cause for concern and that he was feeling much better than before.
He expressed confidence that he would soon make a full recovery and return to his routine engagements and interactions with party workers.
News of his hospitalization prompted several political leaders to visit TMH. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and former Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, along with senior BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale, met Soren at the hospital, enquired about his health, and received updates from the attending doctors.
Medical officials have stated that Soren’s condition is stable and under control, with his health showing continuous improvement.
