Chaibasa, Feb. 28: BJP spokesperson and TAC member along with district fishery officers and Mahila committee members of five villages let five thousands small fish at various places of Gomda river under Jhinkpani block on Tuesday in order to promote cage culture entitled as NILI Kranti.
Later, addressing the villagers and the youths, Tubid said, fish farming would generate huge employment as many water-bodies with enormous natural food for reverie fish are available which would help in fish farming. The fish farmers need not feed anything extra to fish from outside .
Tubid also added that the government is also promoting the fish cage culture industry as part of its mission in Jharkhand and the project has been included in the budget. The villagers would be able to earn huge profit which can help overcome unemployment issue.
Tubid also appealed the youth to adopt fish farming as their employment. District fishery officer Nilam Saroj Ekka said that the villagers who are interested in fish culture would be trained at Ranchi in the month of March . The armature fish farmers should learn the process of cage culture properly during the training .
The cage farming move ( Nili Kranti ) water revolution of Tubid was welcomed enthusiastically by the villagers. Present on the occasion were Jinat Fatima, Man Singh, Nandlal Khandayet and villagers in large numbers.
