First medical responders� training starts at Red Cross

Jamshedpur: A state level first medical responders training programme kicked off at Red Cross Building, Sakchi, under the aegis of International Red Cross Society and Indian Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur chapter on Wednesday.

The chief guest of the programme was Dr Lal Mohan Mahato, deputy development commissioner (DDC) of East Singhbhum. He said the progress made by Red Cross in the field of service of humanity was praiseworthy and outstanding. He said the Red Cross volunteers had still much work to do ahead. He asked them to keep up the good work and continue working for the needy in emergency situations.

The additional secretary of Raj Bhavan Secretariat Ganesh E Patro, sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum Prem Ranjan, ICRC trainer John George and trainer from National headquarters of Red Cross Society Suresh were also present during the programme.
