Jamshedpur: Steel City is blessed with a new destination of peace and devotion as a splendid and magnificent temple has been established by the Sai Pariwar Vishva Seva Sansthan in eastern region of Jamshedpur. The statue of Sai Baba will be installed formally on 31st May in a three day long ceremony.
The temple has been constructed across a wide area of two acres in Manfita village in Ghorabanda. It will be formally inaugurated in a grand celebration which will start from 31st May and conclude on 2nd June. On this occasion various rituals will be performed by priests from Shirdi and Allahabad. The main events will include a kalash yatra and chanting of vedic mantras.
Temple sources said a marble statue of Sai Baba will be installed in the main hall of the temple. The statue has been prepared by artists of Makrana, Rajasthan.
The temple committee members said the temple will not only be a tourist attraction of the state but will also create employment opportunities. With this view the temple authorities have come up with many other future ventures, sources said.
The temple committee members said around 50,000 people will attend a bhog distribution programme on the concluding day of the ceremony. Devotees will be seated in the large hall on the temple premises.
Many temple committee members are working day and night to make the ceremony a grand success. They include Nutan Kumari, Laxmi Narayan, Shikha Rai Choudhary, Ekta Jaisawal, Preeti Srivastava and Reena Singh.
