Jamshedpur: For the first time, a one-day blood donation camp was organized at Adityapur Railway Station premises by Prateek Sangharsh Foundation, in collaboration with Jamshedpur Blood Centre and supported by the Freight Depot Sick Line.
The camp was inaugurated with floral tributes and lamp lighting before the statue of Bharat Mata. The event saw the presence of Siddhant Verma (DME), A. Mandal (SSE), Dr. Nirjala Jha and PSF Director Arijit Sarkar.
A total of 85 donors participated in the camp, which aimed at fulfilling humanitarian responsibilities and ensuring timely availability of blood for patients in need. Organizers highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation as a life-saving act.
Key contributors to the event included R.P. Nair, A.K. Mahakud, Shubhokanto Pradhan, Sanjay Pradhan, Anish, Bhupesh and several PSF members including Deepak Kumar Mitra, Tapan Chanda, Bhaskar Kundu and Ravi Shankar.
The initiative was widely appreciated as a successful effort toward community welfare and social responsibility.
