Jamshedpur, April 19: A fire safety program was conducted at Motilal Nehru Public School led by Govind Ram Verma, Station Officer, Fire brigade team of Tata Steel.
Students and teachers of MNPS were apprised about the use of fire extinguishers, the processes to be followed, like emergency response plan, routes to be followed, headcount after evacuation and other necessary protocols.
The session was attended by Senior Coordinator Renu Sinha, Junior Coordinator Purnima Tripathy, Junior Safe Club Coordinator Suchismita and Senior Safe Club member Anandita Upadhaya, teachers, staff members and children and observer of school Safety Club.
Tata Steel facilitates this intiative by organizing training program on various topics to increase awareness among school children.
