Jamshedpur, May 10: In a devastating turn of events, two hotels located on Tank Road in Mango were engulfed in flames during the early hours of Friday, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. The fire, which erupted at approximately 3:30 in the morning, quickly spread through the establishments, operated by Shibu Pal and Jhantu Modak.

Local residents were the first to alert Pal and Modak about the inferno. Promptly upon receiving the distressing news, they rushed to the scene and immediately contacted the fire department for assistance. Firefighters arrived swiftly and initiated efforts to contain the blaze, but unfortunately, by the time it was brought under control, all belongings within the hotels had been reduced to ashes.

Following the incident, BJP leader Vikas Singh visited the site to inquire about the situation. Speaking with the victims, it became evident that the fire had not only destroyed their property but also robbed them of their means of livelihood. One of the victims lamented the loss, stating that he had been sustaining his family for fifteen years by operating a food and breakfast hotel, only to find himself suddenly stripped of everything he had worked for. The cause of the fire remains unclear, with the victim expressing bewilderment as to how it could have ignited despite ensuring all stoves were switched off before retiring for the night.
