Fire erupts in Jamshedpur warehouse

Jamshedpur, Feb 5: A sudden fire broke out in the warehouse of a tent house situated at Bhuiyandih Chhayanagar, under the jurisdiction of Sitaramdera police station on Monday morning. The local residents noticed flames emerging from the warehouse and promptly informed the owner, Prabhat Kumar. Responding to the alert, Prabhat Kumar rushed to the scene.

Upon receiving the information, two fire engines from the Jharkhand Fire Department also quickly arrived and initiated efforts to control the fire. After approximately half an hour of intensive firefighting, the blaze was successfully brought under control.

Prabhat Kumar shared that the warehouse contained various goods related to the tent house business. The fire was reported by people in the morning, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs 50 to 60 thousand. The preliminary suspicion is that the fire might have been caused by a short circuit.

The timely response from both the locals and the fire department played a crucial role in preventing the escalation of the fire and limiting the damages. An investigation will be carried out to determine the exact cause of the incident.
