Jamshedpur, Oct 19 : A fire broke out at a company quarter on OC Road, South Park, Bistupur while welding work was being carried out on Friday. The fire was brought under control after efforts by the fire department. According to the resident Gopal Lal, Tata Steel UISL (formerly JUSCO) was conducting maintenance work including welding to repair the garage. During the process, stored items in the garage caught fire. Several vehicle tires were also stored in the garage which caused the fire to escalate. The fire was eventually controlled and no injuries were reported.
