Jamshedpur, April 29: BJP leader Devendra Singh lodged a police complaint against state Minister Hafizul Hasan Ansari with the Sakchi police station for allegedly making a communally disturbing statement. He said a recent statement made by the Minister threatened communal peace and harmony. “For a person seated on a constitutional post, such statements are not only unwarranted but also highly condemnable. Chief Minister Hemant Soren should immediately sack him for such irresponsible behaviour,” he said.
Singh said Ansari had made the controversial statement in Garhwa in which the latter allegedly threatened Hindus with serious consequences.
