Bokaro : Students coached by FIITJEE turned out trumps once again at the Joint Entrance Examination Mains for entry to the country�s top engineering colleges, with 189 students figuring in the merit list of 1.5 lakh students, who qualified the first round to write the JEE Advanced test 2014.
Suman Swaroop student of Four Year long term Classroom Program from FIITJEE Bokaro Centre have scored second highest in the city and scored 300 out of 360 in the first round results of JEE Mains, the results for which were announced on May 3. Like last year, this year also JEE is being held in two phases.
FIITJEE students who scored exceptionally well this year include Rahul Branwal (Score 276/360), Gaurav kumar (Score 272/360) among others. Having cleared the first hurdle in their race towards the IITs, the students aspiring to enter IITs are understandably elated.
Total 189 students from FIITJEE�s Bokaro Centre qualified to write JEE Advance. It is to be noted that today�s result is not the final result but a preliminary one that has shortlisted 1.5 lakh students from the students who appeared for the JEE Main test on April 6.
The qualifying students will write the JEE-Advanced on May 25 to compete for the 10,000 IIT seats.
