Gamharia, June 2: A meeting was organized today at the Community building in the Gamharia Block premise to discuss plans for linking farmers to the CM Krishi Ashirwad Yojna. A large number of Kisan Mitras, government employees and members of Atma were present at the meeting presided by Circle Officer Dhananjay.
The CO stated that 15 thousand farmers in the Block who have been earmarked for CMKAY project would be included by June 15. The project devised to boost farming, will provide financial aid to farmers at the rate of Rs 5,000 per acre of cultivable land. A specially formed five member team of Raiyat Samanvay Samiti will organize special Gram Sabhas in all villages of the Block. Dhananjay also directed all Circle Office employees to prepare a list of all eligible beneficiaries for the project. They are to work in tandem with all Mukhiyas and social workers.
After discussing the pro and con factors, the selected farmers would be paid the proportionate amounts into their bank accounts. The enlisted farmers will have to produce their Aadhaar Cards, bank account documents and ancestry certificates to avail of the benefits of CMKAY.
Among those present during the discussion were Panchayat raj officer Manoj Kumar Jha, Dayanand Prasad, Manoj Kumar Singh, Antima Kumari and Rajesh Mahto.
