Farm Area Puja Committee performs ground breaking ceremony

Jamshedpur, Sept 19:  Members of the Kadma Old Farm Area Sarvajanin Durga Puja Committee performed the ground breaking ceremony at the site of the erection of the Durga Puja pandal. All government COVID-19 protocols would be followed during the forthcoming Durgotsav that would be celebrated from Panchami to Maha Dashami. It may be mentioned that Durgotsav has been celebrated by the Old farm Area Durga Puja Committee since 1936 and this will be the 86th year of organizing Durga Puja Utsav. Debjit Sarkar, secretary of the committee, said that this time there will be no bhog distribution in view of the COVID restrictions. Those present during the ground breaking ceremony included committee chairman Sudipto Mukherjee, Debjit Sarkar, Pranav, Biswajit Pal, Bachchu, Kalu Mukherjee, Rajesh, Kiran and Sunny Giri.
