Jamshedpur, Sept 19: Thakur Pyara Singh Dhurandhar Singh Club Durga Puja Committee on the pious occasion of Anant Chaturdasi on Sunday, performed Bhoomi Pujan (ground breaking ceremony) of the Durga Puja pandal amidst prayers to Mother Bhagwati by Yashvardhan Singh.
Prayers were offered to the Divine Mother for eradication of COVID from mankind so that people could celebrate Durgotsav without fear and with gay abandon as before the setting in of the pandemic.
After Bhoomi Pujan, prasad was distributed to the devotees while they chanted the Mother’s glory.
