Hotel ‘The Bizton’ to be rebranded as Hotel Vivanta

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: The city of Jamshedpur is all set to get a world-class luxury hotel soon. The Bizton, Golmuri-based hotel, will be rebranded as Hotel Vivanta by Taj, courtesy Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) which has reportedly entered an agreement in this regard with Vijay Homes Group. The hotel will be started in January 2024.

Sources, while quoting the executive vice president of ICHL (real estate and development), Suma Venkatesh, said Jharkhand is an important state in view of its business potential. Keeping this in mind, an initiative has been taken to set up Hotel Vivanta in Jamshedpur, sources said.

Shyam Sunder Gaur and Phanindra Mahato, Directors, Vijaya Homes Group said, “We are happy to join hands with IHCL, India’s leading Hospitality Company to bring the Vivanta brand to Jamshedpur. We look forward to delivering a world class hospitality experience to the guests visiting the city.”

There will be a total of 94 rooms in the proposed hotel. Out of these 61 are equipped with luxury while the remaining 33 will be prepared by next year. The hotel will have daylong dining facility, rooftop restaurant, bar, swimming pool and fitness centre. The banquet hall has been made by joining three halls, sources said.

Vivanta represents a collection of sophisticated upscale hotels. The brand, promises to deliver experiences that are dynamic, spirited and unique with a dash of uniqueness and an unexpected twist – a perfect fit for contemporary travellers.

IHCL owns 267 hotels. Out of these 70 hotels are under construction. The hotels are situated in four continents across 11 nations. It is the fourth hotel in Jharkhand. The company also runs Hotel Ginger.
