Ranchi: Joint teams of Lower Bazar police and Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) today raided a shop at Roshpa Tower situated on Main Road, Ranchi, and confiscated counterfeit products being sold with the brand name of Hewlett Packard (HP).
Cops seized fake toners having the brand name of HP during the raid and arrested one Deepak Kumar Britiya.
An FIR was lodged against the accused with the Lower Bazar police station. The police team included SSP Kuldip Dwivedi, police inspector Lalan Kumar THakur and officials of Lower Bazar PS.
Cops said they had got a tip-off about the sale of fake HP products at a shop in Roshpa Tower.
