Young Scientist Award 2026 Conferred On Karim City College Prof

Jamshedpur: Dr. Ali Jaan Hussain, a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Karim City College, Sakchi, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Young Scientist Award 2026’ by the Governing Council of the International Academy of Science. The award was conferred in Kolkata, West Bengal, on March 8, 2026, in the presence of eminent national and international dignitaries, following a strong recommendation by the Academy’s Search Committee.

The achievement brought immense pride and joy to Karim City College. On the occasion, Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz felicitated Dr. Hussain in the presence of faculty members and extended his heartfelt congratulations for the remarkable accomplishment.

Dr. Hussain has earlier been recognised with the Junior Research Award and the Young Research Award. His academic journey is marked by several notable contributions, including the development of an innovative greenhouse monitoring device and securing a design patent recognised by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
