Jamshedpur: In a bid to increase voter turnout in the upcoming Assembly elections, the district administration has launched a large-scale voter awareness program as per the instructions of District Election Officer Ananya Mittal. The initiative is being carried out by the Voter Awareness Force, Election Literacy Club (ELC), Booth Awareness Group, and Residential Welfare Associations across the district.

The program focuses on the importance of ethical voting and the role each vote plays in building a strong democracy. Discussions emphasized that responsible voting reflects the awareness and dedication of citizens toward their country. Voters were urged to cast their ballots on November 13 without succumbing to fear, pressure, or undue influence.

The campaign is engaging the public through various activities organized by ELCs, including poster-making, debates, street plays, slogan writing, and mock elections.

Additionally, marathons, wall paintings, and cleanliness drives are being conducted to spread the message. Information on apps like the C-Vigil App, Voter Helpline App, and Toll-Free Number 1950 was also shared, highlighting tools that make the election process more accessible and transparent.
