Excel India Model School launches anti-plastic campaign

Jamshedpur, July 12: Excel India Model School in Birsanagar, observed Paper Bag Day with a strong message against plastic pollution. Students actively participated by creating colorful and attractive paper bags, promoting the use of eco-friendly alternatives.

During the event, teachers educated students about the harmful effects of plastic and its long-term environmental consequences. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of reducing plastic usage and adopting sustainable habits.

Principal Mamta Kumari addressed the gathering, stating, “We are currently facing serious challenges such as climate change and environmental imbalance. Shifting from plastic to paper products is a small step that can bring significant change. Everyone must contribute to this effort.”

This year’s theme for Paper Bag Day focused on becoming more sustainable and environmentally friendly. All students, teachers, and staff members of the school participated enthusiastically in the event.
