English Elocution contest at JUSCO School Kadma

Jamshedpur, Jan 15: The Kudy Mahanty Auditorium at JUSCO School Kadma, came alive, as the school hosted 18th Annual English Elocution event with the theme ‘PANORAMA’.

Students from class LKG to STD VIII showcased their impressive oratory talents.

Divided into two distinct categories individual and choral, the competition showcased the students’ exceptional speaking abilities and creative prowess. The panel of judges comprised Keka Ganguly and Amita Sinha. The judges lauded the students for their articulate speeches, confidence and their remarkable memory power, serving as a source of encouragement for their future endeavours.

Parents of the participants filled the auditorium with pride as they witnessed their children excel on stage.

The Individual Recitation category winners were as follows: LKG & UKG: Riya Roychowdhary of LKG C winner, Rashka UKG B runner up.

I & II: Humairah Imdad of II C winner, Adeema Iman of II A runner up,

III & IV: Sneha Shaw of IV B winner,  Kavya Raj of III A runner up.

V & VI: Spriha Parthasarthy of VI A winner, Priyan of VI B runner up.

VII & VIII: Mayank Shreshth of VII C winner, Aryan Rath of VIII B runner up.

LKG C was declared the winner whereas UKG B secured the runner up position.

I & II: Class II C emerged as the winners as I A took the runner up spot.

III & IV: Class III A claimed the winners’ position and IV B achieved the runner up position.

V & VI: Class VI C was declared the winners and V C was the runner up.

VII & VIII: VII C showcased their excellence as winners with VII B as the runners up.

Elocution, an event to design public speaking skills, was further enriched by English teachers’ creative contributions in crafting poems that showcased the students’ brilliance during their performances.
