Mount Litera Zee School, DAV Bistupur win JOGGA Inter School Badminton Championship hosted by Jusco School South Park 

Jamshedpur: JOGGA Inter School Badminton Championship 2024 organised by Jusco School South Park concluded with prize distribution ceremony at JRD Tata Badminton Training Centre on Saturday.

In Junior Girls category -Vaibhavi Srivastava, Yashasvi Srivastava, Varsha Kumari of Motilal Nehru Public School were the winners. Prisha Paliwal, Aruvi Shraddha Singh, Prasheeta Savarna, Aditi Sharma of Sacred Heart Convent School were second while Samiya Afreen and Taifa Shamsher of Kerala Public School, Mango won third prize.

In Junior Boys category- Md. Ashraf Ansari, Shadan Ahmed Khan, Hasham Ahmed, Anaf Mahfooz of Kerala Public School, Mango bagged first prize followed by Koshal Ghosh, Syed Wali Hasan, Ishan Kumar, Naman Raj of DAV Bistupur and Navin Mahato, Ashit Mahato, Harshit Gupta of Baridih High School.

In Senior Girls- Khadeeja Altaf Jawed, Izzah Nisa, Laaiba Yasin Ahmed of Mount Litera Zee School was declared the winner, Riddhi Singh, Shrishti Kumari of Central Public School, Adityapur were second while Roly Gupta, Monalika of Jusco School South Park won third prize.

In Senior Boys-Aditya Bhargav, Ayush Sinha, Rajdeep Das, Abhirup Raj of DAV Bistupur was first, Utkarsh Kumar, Harsh Bagh of Tarapore Agrico was second while Amandeep, Shashwat Shubham Raj, Puspesh Kumar of Mount Litera Zee School won third prize.

AF Madon, Administrator JEM Foundation graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he congratulated the students and motivated them not to lose hope whatever may the situation be. Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager JEM Foundation was the Guest of Honour. Firoz Khan, Vice President and sports promoter of JOGGA was also present as the special guest. In his address he appreciated the efforts of the students and JUSCO School South Park team for organising such successful event.

Mili Sinha, Principal welcomed the guests with saplings.

The team of officials led by Vivek Sharma, Head Coach, Badminton Training Centre also received appreciation certificates for successfully conducting the event.

All the coaches of 18 participating schools were felicitated with mementos and participation certificate.
