Jamshedpur, Nov 20: Tata Steel’s Sports Department organised a successful Inter JDC Cross Country Men and Women Championship today at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Chief Guest Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief Sports and Abhijeet Roy, Chief Coke Plant graced the occasion with Vibhuti Dhand Adesara, Head Sports Events and Training Centre and Sanjay Kumar Singh, Union Committee member of Tata Worker’s Union as Guests of Honour.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from total 360 participants from 16 JDC.
In a display of exceptional skill and sportsmanship, the team from Engineering Services emerged Winner, showcasing their prowess and determination, whereas team of HRM bagged the Runner’s up position. Team of Coke Plant emerged as the 2nd Runner’s up in this tournament.
In women’s category, team of Coke Plant emerged Winner followed by team HRM adjudged as Runners up and team HSM emerged as the 2nd Runner’s up.
