End of PDS Dealers’ strike in Jamshedpur; Distribution to resume

Jamshedpur: The strike by Public Distribution System (PDS) dealers in Jamshedpur, which persisted for the past nine days, was called off on Tuesday. As a result, the PDS dealers are set to resume the pickup and distribution of ration to cardholders from Wednesday.

A meeting was convened at the Golmuri Club House, chaired by Fair Price Shop Association District President Mohan Sao alias Paras. The meeting brought together district committee officials, block committee chairpersons, and other officials. During the meeting, information about the decisions made by the State Committee was shared, along with details about the discussions held with state committee members and Jharkhand government officials.
