Jamshedpur: The Drinking Water Department in Jamshedpur has initiated a new experiment to make drinking water quality testing easily accessible to the public. Individuals can now avail water quality testing services by paying a nominal fee ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 100. This testing service is offered at the district-level water testing laboratory of the Drinking Water Department located in Adityapur.
The laboratory holds accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), ensuring reliable and accurate testing results. Any person interested in getting their water quality tested can bring a sample in a clean bottle to the laboratory, where the testing will be conducted. Once the testing is complete, individuals will receive a detailed report on the quality of their drinking water.
