Jamshedpur, April 26: Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar allotted election symbols to all 23 candidates in fray for the upcoming Lok Sabha election at Jamshedpur seat.
Friday being the last day for withdrawing nomination, one candidate, Surendra Kumar Pandey, decided not to contest the election.
The candidates include Mubin Khan (almirah), Anjana Mahato (TMC logo), Mahesh Kumar (auto-rickshaw), Angad Mahato (battery torch), Ashraf Hussain (elephant), Sheikh Akhruddin (football), Bidyut Baran Mahato (Lotus), Surya Singh Besra (pot), Champai Soren (bow and arrow), Ranjit Kumar Singh (fruit basket), Panmani Singh (glass), Deepak Kumar Giri (farmer driving tractor), Malay Kumar Mahato (saw), Chandrashekhar Mahato (blackboard), Subrat Kumar Pradhan (coat), Asit Kumar Singh (cup plate), Shailesh Kumar Singh (platter), Dinesh Mahato (matchbox), Rakesh Kumar (cauliflower), Savita Kaivart (roti roller), Sarita Anand (truck), Asajdullah Imran (Ludo) and Kamar Raza Khan (letterbox).
