Jamshedpur: Election Commission of India�s Expenses Observer for Jamshedpur seat T Dineshan inspected the media cell of East Singhbhum district administration and sought information about its various activities. The DPRO informed him about the various activities of media cell such as monitoring paid news in electronic/print media, radio channels, keeping an eye on election expenses of candidates, monitoring voters� awareness publicity and content on social media and coordinating with various government offices to issue press releases. The observer asked the DPRO and other officials to keep a close watch on paid news and advertisements.
