Jamshedpur: The Bhumij Munda Susar Akhra (BMSA) Gamharia Committee expressed elation at the Bhumij language being given the status of Second State Language. The BMSA acknowledged the contribution to this achievement by Potka legislator Menka Sardar. The members welcomed her at Hata with a flower bouquet.
The members of BMSA said that the community has attained recognition due to the tireless efforts of Menka Sardar. The Bhumij community was proud of the achievement. They said that the Bhumij community, in the coming days, would be taking rapid strides towards all round progress.
For Bhumij language being given the status of Second State Language, BMSA also thanked State Governor Droupadi Murmu, Chief Minister Raghubar Das besides legislator Menka Sardar.
BMSA members present on the occasion included Paga Sardar, Anil Sardar, Brihaspati Sardar, Kalipada Sardar, Somnath Sardar, Ruplal Sardar, Nakul Sardar, Anil Singh Sardar, Janata Sardar and others.
