Elaborate security arrangements in place for polling: Jamshedpur SSP

Jamshedpur, Dec 6: East Singhbhum SSP Anoop Birtharay appealed to all voters to exercise their voting rights fearlessly on the eve of second phase polling. He said the district administration had made elaborate security arrangements at all polling booths. District police is conducting a checking drive at all entry and exit points of the district, he said.

The SSP said COBRA and Jharkhand Jaguar jawans are running search operations in sensitive areas. He said 11 Quick Response Teams have been deputed in the city to deal with security challenges.
